Where do you want to go?
If you’re a hard working house man/wife you might not like what you’re about to read, but it has to be said, and once the point has come across you’ll be thankful.
Whose fault is it really when your kids or other members of the family are fat or morbidly obese? Who cooks the French fries, fish fingers, gravy, greasy and fatty spring rolls, eggs and bacon 7 days of the week? Who fry’s everything, packs the kids lunch with white bread, whacks in two packs of chips and popper drinks. Who makes the unhealthy food choices at your home?
What do you need to do get your family and yourself back on track?
Change your eating habits, learn about cooking healthy, grilling instead of frying, nuts instead of chips, fruit instead of candy and most importantly get active and fit, hire a personal trainer or join a group of fitness people for support and motivation.
As a parent it is your responsibility to educate your kids on food, what is good, what is not and what it will do to them over time no matter how good it tastes. Don’t take the easy way out, this is your kids life we are talking about, if they whine and complain a bit then don’t give in, give them the option of eating healthy or nothing at all, if that doesn’t work try reverse psychology “you’ll get nothing else but fatty food from now on!”…
If you don’t care about yourself at least care about your kids they deserve better and can only learn from you.
