Treadmill Vs Kettlebells

A common question always asked is, "What is the best way to lose weight". There are certain factors to maximise your true potential for weight loss and those are:

  • Muscles used
  • Impact
  • Elevated heart rate
  • Incline
  • Resistance

Most people will turn to a treadmill, an excellent choice as it is one of the most effective ways for an aerobic workout. It enables you to elevate your hate rate, its an impact movement, its using the biggest muscles in your body and it can be put onto an incline.

However, a more effective way of losing weight is starting to make more of an appearance in the fitness industry. 'Kettlebells', invented by the Russians, this ingenious piece of equipment can now help you to strip off that excess fat and tone up your body. The reason for this is simple, it has all the same key factors for weight loss as a treadmill but it utilizes almost your entire body which helps you to more effectively burn calories. Not only is it an aerobic work out but it is also an anaerobic workout, meaning you can build muscle at the same time as losing that excess fat.
