Where do you want to go?
Time flies, I feel fitter and the fitter we get, the harder Colonel Anna makes the session. I'm a bit sore after carrying truck tyres around an oval yesterday. It's nice to nearly pass out only to realise the session is over, oh yeah, I got 3 ant bites after yesterday's session, that's what 100 metres of commando crawls over ants nest will do to you.
I really look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. I am addicted to the feeling I get AFTER the exercise. Dieting alone is not for me. It is very boring and very depriving with no reward (like the thrill of a boxing bag or first situp since 3 babies).
4kg down since starting with you guys, but at least 20 more to go. So hopefully I'll be here for a while :)
It's week 4 of our challenge and things aren't getting much easier yet! After getting saturated in our sessions last week, we're back in the sunshine (and heat!) this week.
I was told that afterabout 3 weeks we'd start getting less sore as our bodies adapt. But yesterday's session blew that theory out of the water! Colonel Anna really worked our upper bodies, and boy are we feeling it now!
It's great to have my hubby Dean along getting involved Anna likes getting him to work harder by telling him that I'm stronger than him! Whatever gets you motivated!
Got my BP tested on Friday and it is down to 137/97. My goal is 130/70. Thanks for the help so far.
I vaguely remember Colonel Anna at the first session yelling something about "Rain, Hail or Shine we still do Boot Camp". At the time I thought it was just abit of the talk-up, but yesterday afternoon we learnt that she is a woman ofher word. The harder the rain got, the harder she pushed us. By the end, every one of us was wet to the bone and covered in grass, mud and whatever else is found lying around parks (use your imagination). To tell the truth, I didn't mind the rain as it was much cooler. I am pretty sore today so I think the coolness meant I worked harder.
I really enjoyed Friday but, bed time Fri night did not come quick enough. As much as I struggle, I think I am getting addicted. Oh well, I better not dig myself to bigger hole. Have a sensational weekend.
We approached Executive Results to help us prepare for our upcoming trek to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. We didn’t really know what to expect coming to our very first session of Executive Results Training. We were told that it would be the hardest we would have ever worked but reality didn’t set in until we were actually doing it and working well and truly harder than we ever had. After the first session, when we were exhausted lying on the grass, we both felt a sense of pride and achievement for getting through the session.
Every session followed the same storyline... we turned up to each week feeling a sense of the first-day-anxiety as we were never sure what we were in for because no session was ever the same. Every week we worked the hardest we had ever worked – gaining not only physical fitness but increasing our stamina and improving our willpower. This helped us push ourselves that little bit further. After every session, while we were absolutely exhausted, we were always buzzing with a sense of euphoria - it is an awesome feeling!
Since completing Executive Results Training, we have run the Bridge to Brisbane in personal best times, and we continue to train regularly both outdoors and at the gym.
These activities seem so much easier with our new level of physical and mental endurance. In our first week, Anna introduced us to her motto "Pain is only weakness leaving the body!". After that first week, we had a lot of weakness leaving our bodies!
After finishing Executive Results Training, we are not only physically prepared for our Trek to Nepal, but also mentally strong and equipped for the challenges we will face.
Once again, thanks a million for your assistance, advise, encouragement and your guidance with my weightloss journey. i'm so grateful and lucky to have found bootcamp and you.
Your the best trainer in the world and cant wait to see you on the biggest loser show one day:) I'd rather see you with commando Steve instead of Michelle. hehehe:)
The informal feedback that I have received is that everyone enjoyed the session however is a bit sore today :)
Everything is going quite well with me actually. I lost about 2.5 kgs over the long weekend which I was stoked about and around another 1.5kgs since then. I am coping well with the eating and the exercising is going good.
I haven't been writing everything down but I will do so from now on and send through to you every few days. I can absolutely assure you there has been zero CRAP going into my body. It has been hard but quite easy at the same time. It's a matter of will power and motivation from me.
I will get myself weighed over the weekend and send through to you probably on Monday if that's ok. You are right it definitely is good being accountable to someone. I am sure after the 6 weeks I will be on the right track. I am still around 8-9 kgs shy of my goal weight for the end of May, but I feel as if I am definitely on the right track, thanks to your help and motivation.
Yourself and Shannon have been excellent. When I think, I'm done, you guys keep me going. Thank-you.
Natalie has been great. She does a lot of cardio - running and push ups. She takes the time to learn our names and uses them throughout the session (I think that is important as it makes me feel like she is really trying to help me reach the end).
All of the trainers have been great. The only thing I like about your sessions in particular is that no session is ever the same! The element of surprise which I like (but that's me - perhaps others like routine). If it is boring, I get bored (like aerobics).
I have been going to Executive Results' Boot Camp with the 96.5FM Crew for the last 3 weeks. I thought I was pretty fit, until I went to Executive Results' Boot Camp. I have developed and used muscles I hadn't use for years. Anna pushes you to make sure she's gets the best out of you (even when you can't do the exercise no more).
Since the last 3 weeks, I play competitive Ozetag, my endurance and recovery rate was shocking, now my second wind comes back quicker, recovery is great! Its great to be feel fit again. So don't miss out. If you are seriously about losing weight? get fitness? or gain power come and see Anna.
Hi Anna,
I just wanted to give Shannon a wrap for this morning's session. He is motivating and very hard on us but I really like him! He did lots of tyre work and push up (so much so I could not lift my arms at end of the session) See you Wednesday! :-)
I have been doing Boot Camp with Executive Results for nearly 12 months. I love the results that I have achieved with the help of Anna and her team.
Just before Christmas I decided that I wanted to increase my training and results even further (I thought this might off-set the festive seasons activities J), so I joined Anna once a week for a Personal Training session. I have never had the help of a Personal Trainer before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The 40 minutes with Anna flies by, and it is definitely challenging. After a series of 8 weeks I have seen an amazing improvement in my strength and my fitness.
By complementing my Boot Camp sessions with PT the results have been great. I can't believe how much stronger I am, the amount of push ups, sits ups and other exercises I can now do compared with my previous best is remarkable. Not only that but I feel mentally stronger, it's like I know that my body is capable of more, so mentally I can push myself further. It feels great to be improving so much. Thanks Anna.
I am a teacher, who before children loved to water ski, go to the gym, power walk and be active. Then came my first child and within six weeks I was back into normal life and into my old clothes. This is easy, let's do it again! Well, as I've learnt, not all plans go the way we want them to read more…
Of everything I have ever done to improve my fitness, Executive Results’ Boot Camps are by the far the most effective, enjoyable and rewarding thing I have ever done.
I recently signed up for my third Boot Camp because it quite simply gets me results. With Anna and the sergeants help I’ve very quickly achieved a great new level of fitness - and I’m still improving!
Best of all, Boot Camp is never repetitive. You never know what is in store each morning until you start doing it.
While I’ve looked with trepidation and some of the set challenges, they’ll never set an impossible task. With the constantly positive (yet firm) encouragement of Anna and the sergeants, you learn to dig deep and keep on going. Indeed, after each session you feel like you’ve really achieved something great.
Thanks Anna!
I had only one personal goal, and that was “To lose weight for my wedding day”. I had tried the gym, fad diets, and my own healthy lifestyle attempts, however I lacked the motivation and consistency of effort to achieve this goal. It was time to try something new, and (if you are anything like me) I needed someone to push, challenge, and motivate me to get my butt into gear. I have since turned to Executive Results Boot Camps.
As of today, 2 weeks out from my wedding, I have achieved my goal and so much more. I am now on my second program and in the 10 weeks I have been doing Executive Results Boot Camp I have lost 12kgs. As equally important as the actual weight loss in kilograms, I have also toned up and gone down 3 belt sizes, whilst I generally feel healthier and more energetic. What is most rewarding for me is at the end of the working day, I now still have a little spark and enthusiasm to enjoy my personal life.
Boot Camps are challenging and you are really pushed to extend yourself. At the end of a session you know you have had a great workout, but if you are prepared to make the most of this opportunity then you will receive maximum rewards.
A huge thanks to Anna and Christo for providing that driving / motivating force to help me achieve my goal.
I just wanted to say that today's session was excellent!! Thanks for that. I had to thank you today because I think tomorrow I will be cursing you everytime I move! I can feel my stomach muscles hurting already. It's actually great to feel like you've really been pushed.
So thank you!!
I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank-you for organising the challenge this morning. The extra session was great, as well as the opportunity to bond with the other girls. And winning the challenge - well that was an unexpected bonus.
I really enjoyed myself.
Thank-you
I have been a member of a gym for a long time and have plodded along getting some results but not massive results. I was looking for something ‘different’ and searching the net when I found executive results website. I registered my interest and Anna rang me back within minutes it seemed. I didn’t have time to think about it, I enrolled and off I went thinking what on earth have I done? It was the best thing I have ever done, motivated every day to push myself further and get better (which I have). While I am still not a speedster or anything, I can run further and for longer than I ever have before which is wonderful. My strength, both physical and mental has improved immensely too.
Anna and Jess are great trainers and I have enrolled for my next boot camp to improve myself even more!! If you are considering boot camp – JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it, I haven’t.
I have been a member of our local gym for about 3 years but not getting the results I wanted because I was not the sort of person to push myself to achieve those results. Our lives are very busy, with our own business, 2 small children, a busy social life and sporting commitments, it was very easy to make the excuses not to go the gym. I decided why pay for something and not use it, so quit the gym, I was on the lookout for something to do. My husband started Boot Camp with Executive Results and I used to listen to the stories he would tell and think “there is no way I could do that”. After some soul searching and seeing the results he was achieving I thought this is exactly what I needed. I needed to be motivated and pushed to achieve my results. I also needed the “ME” time factor as well. My first session I thought “Oh my God Girl” you are so unfit. I could hardly make it around the oval once and managed to struggle through 10 push ups.
Six weeks later, I ran the Bridge to Brisbane in 78 mins, which was a personal triumph for myself, and now when I hear “Give me 40 push ups!” It’s like “Sure”. My fitness is improving all the time and the motivation not only comes from the great staff at Executive Results but from within me now, as I suppose I’ve realized I can do this and I can do whatever I set my mind to. This is a big accomplishment for me because I have always been a person not having the drive to get the results I’ve wanted. Now there’s no stopping me. I am slowly losing my body fat and can see some toning happening which in itself is a pleasing moment.
A Big thanks go the Anna and her staff at Boot Camp, for starting me on road to ….. wherever I want to go.
It's been 7 week of gruelling training, but I wouldn't swap it for the world. From wrestling with the Anaconda to penalties from Sergeant Mary there is always something that you aren't prepared for. Exhausting as it may be, I always come away with a strong sense of achievement. I've always liked team sports and haven't grasped the concept of going to the gym or felt confident enough. Boot camp has given me the confidence and boost as well a the support from other members and staff.
Its been about 12 years since I have had a regular training program and am amazed at my stamina and fitness level already. I have also found that it has assisted me greatly as I have been doing it tough lately personally and it gives me a great outlet. So to Colonel Anna and the Sergeants, thank you for the punishment and certainly look forward to the Boot Camp on Stradbroke or Moreton Is.
I commenced Boot Camp 4 weeks ago and cannot believe the changes that have occurred as a result.
A lot of people have an impression that Boot Camp is a form of extreme fitness and torture and shy away from it. Whilst I have to admit that it is hard work, it is not as torturous as perceived and is very rewarding. I have found Boot Camp to be the perfect fitness program that I have encountered to date. Whilst the Colonel and Sergeants may sometimes push you to extremes, they are also encouraging and supportive of your goals and will get you the results that you crave. I find that working out in a team environment is also encouraging.
My main aim when I joined Boot Camp was to lose weight and get fit. After only 4 weeks I have dropped a dress size, gained heaps of energy, and whilst I may not be as fit as some of my Boot Camp team mates, I can confidently say "I'm getting there!". I have tried gyms, aerobics, walking and dieting but have always faced the problem of lack of motivation, no time, and get really bored. With Boot Camp it's at a time that is really convenient for me, there is heaps of motivation and encouragement, it is definitely not boring and is over and done with before you know it. Im looking forward to signing up for another 5 week program and dropping another dress size!
Two knee reconstructions, Two kids and Too many kilos, and about time I did something about it for myself. So I called up Executive Results, firstly thinking that I wouldn't even be able to do the workout, but I went along for a trial and have never looked back.
I have been attending training for about 2.5 weeks now and I have already noticed a remarkable difference to everything about me. I have already lost some weight, my skin feels better than it ever has and I feel lighter and brighter making being a mum with two small children much more enjoyable.
It is an early start and it is a hard workout, but the rewards outweigh all that for me. Each week I set new goals for myself, firstly it was just to do the runs etc without stopping, now that I have managed that the next step is not to be last to finish, and I will get there. I recommend the boot camp run by Anna and her team to everyone, whatever your goals are ie to loose weight or get fit or both, because it is certainly working for me and I enjoy every minute of it (when it is finished that is)..
I am a Personal Trainer, so before I started the Boot Camp my fitness level was already pretty good, but after the five weeks it has definitely boosted my fitness to the next level.
The main reason I started the Boot Camp was because I love a challenge, I love being worked and pushed hard and to add a bit of variety to my current training regime.
Executive Results Boot Camp exceeded all my expectations and I am now stronger and fitter then I ever have been before - I am now doing all my push ups on my toes (good quality push ups!), my body fat percentage has gone down by over 3% and my running performance has increased dramatically, before Boot Camp I was running approx. 7.30minute kilometres and I am now running 6min to 6.30min kilometers- I am training for a half marathon - and can now run 10km with ease (yay only 12km to go!).
A big thank you to Executive Results for all the encouragement and motivation during those cold and dark winter mornings - I can't wait to start it all again!!!
I joined Executive Results boot camp really because I knew I was getting more and more unfit, and I didn’t like the way my body was changing. The cellulite was settling in and I knew it need some serious work. The 1st day at boot camp I admit was a bit of a shock, I was pushed and I was very sore that day and the following day. It is a great feeling to know that you have pushed yourself as hard as you can. Colonel Anna and Sergeant Mary know your limits and I find that I need someone there to encourage me (or push me).
I am now in week 3 and my body has already adjusted and I don’t get so sore after our sessions. I feel stronger, fitter, I have more energy, I sleep better, I cope better under stress, and I am more alert. On top of all this my body is also beginning to change shape – for the better, and I am getting toned. My partner asked me the other night where the other half of my bum was!! (That was his special way of giving me a complement).
I look forward to the boot camp, I enjoy the variety, never knowing what to expect, and I enjoy feeling better than I have for a long time. I recommend boot camp for those of you that need more energy, that are stressed, or if you just want to feel confident and comfortable in you body again.
After having my second child 11 months ago, I was fast running out of excuses to get fit. I wanted to kick start my fitness, but I knew that I would need help to do it. Enter Executive Results Boot Camp. The great thing about Boot Camp is that you don't have to be super fit before you sign up (I couldn't even do a push up when I started), but with the motivation and encouragement from Colonel Anna and Sergeant Mary and the added bonus of working with a group I can feel a dramatic improvement in my strength (I can now do 50 push ups easily) and fitness, and the best thing is that this has all happened over the course of 5 weeks.
If you are someone who is interested in getting fit (fast), having a bit of variety in your workout, being motivated to not only exercise but actually having the energy to do it and meeting a great group of people than the Executive Results Boot Camp is definitely for you. Thanks to the Colonel and the Sergeant I am fitter than I have been in years and I am motivated to take all I have learnt in Boot Camp to push myself and to continue with my fitness program.
The very first Boot Camp I went to was in February 2006, and it is a good place for me to get fit, they push me past my limits, I love that part of it.
The only times I have received penalties is when I was talking when I wasn't suppose to, when I get penalties even though I don't show it, I love doing push-ups and running.
Since February I haven't stopped going to Boot Camp, once I started it I realized that the career I wanted was to be a personal trainer, and one day I hope to be a Boot Camp instructor. You make a lot of friends while you are there.
My first Executive Results Boot Camp session was on Feb 2006. I couldn’t believe what I was about to do - getting up at 5:15 AM in the morning to go to camp at 5:40AM to do squats and push-ups seemed like lunacy, although it was hard, When I got there I actually enjoyed myself and after the first 6 weeks I began to like what I saw in the mirror, as someone who has never exercised since leaving school I have never felt better in my life than I do now and I owe my motivation, dedication and transformation to the Executive Results team, Thank you for helping me become a better me!
I am 57 and found myself after 20 years with a company redundant so I looked at myself and thought hell I am not really employable. I am mostly a sedentary creature who likes to lay back play on computer or read. Exercise – yuck. I have had a heart attack, liver problems and a frozen shoulder. Also my doctors needed me to lose weight and get a lot fitter. So knowing me I would need someone to push me and point me in the right decision so I googled Personal Trainer and Executive Results popped up. Rang them talked to Anna she sounded ok so I signed up for 10 sessions Read more…
Hi Anna,
Thanks for the Diet!!!!! I’m looking forward to this challenge and my husband is thrilled that I am excited about it too, he said “Well you are the biggest I have ever seen you” So now I’m ready, I had my bowl of FAT pasta for dinner tonight and now that’s it. I’m ready to diet.
I really enjoyed coming back to you today, I think that it gives me the push I so need, you are very inspiring and who wouldn’t want to try and look like you! I feel like I am getting stronger, but yet still putting on weight so I am really ready to give this diet a really good go.
Thank you for all your help and how much you care Anna, it’s so good to have someone like you to help me.
See you Saturday
After spending two years at a gymnasium, doing weights and various classes I was not seeing any results. My husband joined Anna and her team at Executive Results last year doing Boot Camp and every morning when he walked through the door he was so much a different person to the other mornings. He was bright red, really dirty and looked exhausted BUT he was so happy, so talkative and had so much energy, he was amazingly different, of course I was envious so we looked into Personal Training for me.
